Hosted by our partners from The Villages at Carver Family YMCA. The purpose of this event is to encourage and promote health and well-being for all members and the community. This event will raise awareness and encourage action using the American Heart Association’s Simple 8 for cardiovascular disease prevention. This will be an event including local businesses, community partners, and YMCA staff that sheds light on the health promoting actions that encourage long term heart health.
Morehouse School of Medicine will be attending this event to provide free health screenings. This includes blood pressure, glucose, and cholesterol.
